What's the correct fit for an Adventure 2.0 Harness?

The Adventure 2.0 Harness has a comfortable and secure fit. We always recommend this style of harness for growing puppies, due to the huge adjustability in both the chest and neck. This harness is also our best option for training walks on a dog that pulls - you can attach our multi-way lead to front and back D-rings and due to the secure fit and adjustment, this minimises the harness shifting as the dog pulls (please ensure post of the weight of the pulling is against the back D-ring only.)

With a secure grab handle on the back, this harness is great for hikes where your dog might need a bit of support getting over stiles or climbing on rocks. As with all our harnesses, the Adventure 2.0 Harness does not need to be squeezed over a dog's ears and comes undone at the neck section.

What's the difference between Adventure 2.0 and Apex Harness?

1. Adventure 2.0 Harness has huge adjustability, including an adjustable neck. This makes it more suited to dog's that may spook and attempt to back out** or growing puppies, whereas Apex is more suited to adult dogs that are not at risk of backing out
2. Apex Harness is lighter weight, thinner, and has much less fabric covering your dog. This might mean slightly less control if you have a wiggly dog, but is a brilliant option for dog's who are gear-shy and uncomfortable with standard harnesses. If you have a very wiggly dog, we suggest Adventure 2.0 Harness
3. The Adventure 2.0 Harness is fully adjustable and fits most dogs, but it can sometimes be too short in the body for sighthounds, and other breeds with narrow and deep chests. The Apex Harness is much more narrow and slim, and has a much longer chest plate to accommodate these breeds. It still works for other breeds too though!
4. The Adventure 2.0 Harness has a tough and thick fabric, brilliant for those dogs who spend half their lives in brambles. Apex Harness has a durable and more water-resistant and quick drying material, best for water dogs!
